Common questions

Before you connect

Answers to the most common setup and access questions.

Where do I get my VPN username and password?

Your credentials are issued by the administrator or organization that granted your VPN access. They are not created or recovered on this page.

Does this website ask for or store my credentials?

No credential fields are present on this page. Enter your username and password only in strongSwan, the Apple profile installation flow, or the Windows setup utility.

How do I disconnect from the VPN?

On Android, open strongSwan and select Disconnect. On Apple devices, turn off VPN in Settings. On Windows, open the taskbar network panel, select VPN, and disconnect.

What should I do if a profile is already installed?

Try the existing Itani VPN connection first. Reinstall or remove a profile only when instructed by your administrator, especially if your organization manages the device.

How can I confirm a downloaded file is unchanged?

Compare the file's SHA-256 value with the official values in checksums.txt.

Ready to begin?

Set up your secure connection.
